Romain Troublé, CEO of the Tara Foundation, explains how he became a leading voice for the ocean cause. We meet an activist just days before negotiations resume on the international treaty against plastic pollution.
You've worked for the Tara Foundation since it was founded by your aunt, Agnès Bourgois (Agnès b.) and her son Etienne, but little is known about you. What prompted you to write this book?
“It was the publisher Stock who contacted me. I ended up accepting to tell my story, which is not trivial, and especially my commitment. I want to tell people that it's never too late. I myself got involved late, at 33.
